Registrations Started For Foreign Language Courses At St Stephens College

Delhi University Affiliated institution, St. Stephens, which is considered to be one of the best colleges in India for graduation. It offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.Besides this, it also offers foreign language certificate, diploma and advance diploma courses in various Asian and European languages. In the competitive world, it is hard to get a job on the basis of just a graduate degree. So, many students from different courses and colleges apply in these courses every year, in order to enhance their Curriculum Vitae and to secure better job options for them. Here are the details of language courses provided in 2017 by the St. Stephens College:

Major Dates For Application:

The registration procedure for the language courses started today from June 20, 2017.The online registration continues until June 30, 2017.

The first, second and third cutoffs will be announced on 3 July, 7 July and 12 July respectively,on the college website.Students qualifying cutoffs will have to submit fees within 3 days of the release of the cutoff.

Duration of the Course: 

The course will begin in August  2017 and will end in the month of March 2018.Examinations will be held in April.

The most noteworthy thing is that the courses are available for weekdays as well as for weekends.

Eligibility:

The applicant should have scored 55% or above in English class 12 exams. Admissions will take place on merit basis.

Course Fee:

The course fees vary for different language courses from 10,000 to 20,00.It is 17,000 for Chinese and Japanese, 6,000 for Indian students pursuing Arabic, Urdu, and Persian, whereas,10,000 for foreign students.

While, for all the courses excluded the given above,its 18,000 for weekdays and 20,000 for weekend courses.

Regular students from St. Stephens can avail a 10% discount for the same.

Note: The students,¬†who’ll pursue certificate course from the college will get student ID card but will neither be permitted in the library nor a hostel accommodation will be provided by the college.
