Songs of the Bollywood movie are the soul of them. A Bollywood movie is unique when songs are added in them and that is the one thing that makes it different from other movies from other countries.
A movie directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali based on the story of the novel White Nights with debuts of Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor as the main leads. The movie created no magic in the box office but the songs of the movie like “Saawariya”, the title track, “Jab se tere naina”, “Mashallah”, “Yun shabnami” were a long time appreciated. The whole album was created by Monty Sharma. These melodies are still not forgotten and are heard from time to time.
The king of melodies is this movie. It is said that the whole limelight of the movie were its songs. Whether it was “Tum Hi Ho”, or “Sunn Raha Hai Na Tu”, or “Chauhan Main Ya Naa”, or “Hum Mar Jayenge”, or “Piya Aaye Na”, or “Bhula Dena”, and many more. The magic it created was more than the magic that was created on the box office. The movie is said to work because of the songs only. These melodies are eternal.
HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI:
A story that would make your heart sink and you will ask yourself whether such kind of love story exists. The more moving and touching is its melodies which will move you like hell, but still you would wish to hear the songs again and again. Songs such as “Hamari Adhuri Kahani, “Hasi”, “Humnava”, “Yeh Kaisi Jagah” will cause you to cry and go into Trans and force you to think that love is not selfish it is self-less.
The plot of the movie was really intelligent though it was remake of a Korean movie. The songs of this movie were even greater than the movie, every song in it was meaningful and had a soul in it, and would touch your heart too deep. The lyrics of the songs will give you life’s meaning. Songs like “Galliyan”, “Banjaara”, “Zaroorat”, “Awari”, and “Hamdard” are beautiful creations and will definitely be never forgotten.
The movie was supposed to be inspiring to teenagers, but somehow the movie couldn’t create that impact amongst the youngsters as was expected nevertheless the songs of the movie did create a great impact. The songs like “Baarish”, “Sunny Sunny”, “Allah Waariyan” and many more became quite a great success and whatever business the movie did it was because of the songs only because otherwise the movie contained nothing that could be seen and enjoyed and appreciated.
A movie based on friendship and modern way of romance directed by Imtiaz Ali. The movie reflected a western view of the relationship and what friends do for each other. The songs of the movie were also great, composed by Pritam. The songs have an upbeat side to it and were quite popular like “Tum Hi Ho Bandhu”, “Yaariyan”, “Luttna”, “Jugni”, “Daaru Desi”. These songs are still used for friendship and still are quite popular.

It is a romantic-comedy-drama film which takes you on a journey of eternal love. This movie is also directed by Imtiaz Ali. An intelligently depicted love story has some awesome melodies in it which you go on the dance floor or make you fell in love with someone deeply. The songs of the movie are like “Twist”, “Chor Bazaari”, “Aahun Aahun”, “Dooriyan”, and “Ajj Din Chadheya”. The songs of the movie are good and will never be forgotten in the coming years.
LIFE IN A METRO:
A movie involving a lot of stories altogether and which are connected to each other in some way or the other. The movie did not do well in the box office but the songs of the movie became quite popular like, “In Dino”, “Alvida”, “O Meri Jaan”, and “Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si”. These songs were the soul of the movie and were actually soulful. Listening to these songs you go into some other world.
A Movie about a monkey and an old lady’s last wish, this movie was showing the typical India, or we could say the typical Chandni Chowk of Delhi. The songs were also made according to the theme of the movie showing of some traditional value with a modern touch in it. Songs like “Masakali”, the title track of “Delhi-6”, and the romantic song “Rehna Tu” and the most famous traditional folky song “Genda Phool”. The movie was not much of a success, but the songs became quite popular especially the Genda Phool.
An exceptionally superb movie based on the life of a singing sensation and his journey of how he became a actual “ROCKSTAR”. The movie was also great on the box office, but the songs were even greater than the movie. The songs gained a lot of popularity. All the songs of the movie were exceptional. They were mostly sung by Mohit Chauhan and composed by A.R Rehman. The songs are like, “Phir Se Ud Chala”, “Jo Bhi Main,” “Katiya Karun,” “Kun Faya Kun,” “Sherer Mein,” “Hawa Hawa,” “Aur Ho”, “Tum Ko”.
All these melodies are soulful and could not be ever forgotten even though we may forget the movies they were in.
