20 Year Old TikTok Star Found Dead In Bed Box

Sonipat, Haryana: A 20-year-old beautician-cum-TikTok star was found dead inside a bed box in her parlour with strangulation marks on her neck. Her business associate Neeraj discovered her body on June 28, 2020 (Sunday).

She used to run a salon with her elder sisters and her associate, Neeraj in TDI City of Kundli in Sonipat. She was a social media influencer swaggering over 1 lakh followers on TikTok.

Police arrested Aarif Mohammad when her family accused him of repeatedly harassing and brutally murdering her. As per the investigation, Shivani spurned him though he continued troubling her. The deceased’s father complained and said, “She told us that Arif was harassing her and that’s why she had stopped talking to him.”

According to the report of Times of India, Police said the accused had confessed his crime. DSP Virender Singh, the supervisor of the case, said, “Aarif has confessed to the crime. He not only murdered Shivani but had been chatting with her family on social media platforms throughout the night of the murder. He will have to undergo the COVID-19 test before being produced in court.’’

As per the investigation, she was viciously killed on Friday evening or night after her sister left for home. Her sister tried to connect her on Whatsapp when she did not return home until late at night. She received a reply from Shivani’s number saying that she is in Haridwar and will return after three to four days. According to the police, the murderer must have replied from her phone.
