5 Things To Know Before You Start Your College Life

Hola freshers! You must be feeling all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as a new phase of your life is about to begin and the delirium is fair enough as there will be no more uniforms, strict rules, compulsion to attend all the classes and much more. But there are several important things that you should keep in your mind before you start your college life.

Too jejune to start with but do consider it as the most important thing which subsequently students regret when they fail to join societies at the start. This will be all beer and skittles and there is so much to learn from your seniors and this is also a good opportunity to overcome your social anxiety.

You will meet new people. They will become your friends and even your best friends but the fact is that just don’t trust people so easily. Everyone out there is working for their own selfish deeds to achieve success, so just don’t get attached to someone too quickly and watch out your back. It’s better to meet up with your old gang as well. No one is ever too busy to make time for old friends, find the time to fit them in as you fall into your new routine and don’t be rash in severing ties with them.

PS – You might also come across genuine people in college as well so be on the lookout for them too.

Those were the days when you were famous IN school, everyone knew your position and worth but now you are just an ordinary person among talented peeps. They all have worked hard and scored marks just like you. So, you gotta do something noteworthy to stand out of the crowd.

Yes, you’ve total freedom, no one is keeping an eye on you. You can eat and drink outside as you like. But you need to understand the fact that smoking and drinking alcohol won’t take you anywhere. This is the time when most of the people indulge in these and drown their chances of a stable career. Try to strike a balance.

This time will fly so fast, you really need to make some amazing memories with amazing people. Do visit the best cafes, other hangout spots and all the popular fests. And simultaneously focus on your career as well, it’s high time!
