One of the famous things associated with college life is the trips we make with our college buddies.All that budget planning, months of saving, permission from parents,deciding the place, long bus journeys,nights spent on playing games gives us nostalgia.These are the memories for lifetime and one hell of an experience.

Like in other things, students of Delhi University leave everyone behind when it comes to college trips.Here comes the weekend and there you see the packing of bags and this traffic increases when it comes to mid-semester break and after exam break.

Though different persons go to different places, some places remain the favourite locations for the college trips. Here we present you the Most Sought out Destinations for College Trips.

1. MURTHAL

A village in Haryana, Murthal is located around 50 kms from Delhi. This place is famous for its Amrik Sukhdev Dhaba (situated on National Highway 8) which serves delicious Paranthas in  Punjabi style with the extra white butter. Murthal remains on the top of the list for those who wanna go for one day trip. The highway trip and delicious paranthas are something to crave for.

There is hardly anyone who can’t admire the beauty of Taj Mahal. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal, made up of¬†ivory-white marble, looks magnificent every time you see it. If one is low on budget and planning a trip nearby, Agra ka plan sort hai bro. Apart from Taj Mahal, it has Agra Fort, Akbar’s Tomb and Jama Masjid. One can also visit Fatehpur Sikri which is situated pretty close.

3. RISHIKESH

Located in the foothills of the Himalayas, Rishikesh is a beautiful city in India’s northern state of Uttarakhand.This city is for everyone and there is a long list of things one can do in Rishikesh. One can visit Rajaji National Park to see the great biodiversity, innumerable temples situated all over the city, meditate on the shores of Ganges

4. UDAIPUR

A city of the Royals, Udaipur is famous for its great palaces which dates back to history. Also known as the “City of Lakes,” Udaipur is home to a good number of lakes and from the resorts situated near the shores, the view is spectacular. Apart from this, Udaipur is known for its culture, scenic locations and Rajput-era history. If you are going there, mark Udaipur City Palace, Lake Palace, Jag Mandir, Ahar Museum, Lake Pichola, Udaipur Biological Park on your list.

5. MCLEODGANJ

McLeod Ganj is a suburb of Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. If you are planning camping and trekking with your friends, this is a place for you.

6. MANALI

Seeing the mountains covered in snow is one of the things which please human eyes the most. What else could be better than having snow fight with your friends and making snowman, and ice skiing, and sliding from the mountains. Damn, there is so much to do in Manali. You can also go for Solang Valley, Rohtang Pass, Bhrigu Lake, Hidimba Devi Temple, the famous Mall Road and many other places. Surely, it is one of the best places to hang out with your gang.

7. KASOL

A beautiful hamlet in Kullu district, Kasol is one of the favourite tourist hotspot in India. It is situated in Parvati Valley, on the banks of the Parvati River, between Bhuntar and Manikaran. Kasol is widely popular for its natural beauty, its forests, its mountains, hot water springs and the valley. It is your go to place if you are looking for camping and trekking.

8. GOA

GOA trip! Plan har koi karta hai, jata koi nahi hai.

A sunny day, beautiful beach, swimming costume, coconut water. Looks good? Well, wake up! It is not going to happen in near future. There will be plans and there will be cancellations but no GOA. There is still time when you can go for Scooter rides wearing your favourite hat on a sunny day.
