Hey admin, your system is not secure. If you do not patch we will arrive again”.Well the words seems to be surprising on reading but these are the words which one could see until friday evening at the Delhi University’s Law Faculty centre’s website.
Actually what happened on Friday, when the students access the Delhi University’s law centre faculty website,it was showing hacked. The website has been allegedly hacked by the Bangladeshis as it was mentioned in the message. It remain hacked till friday evening.
Mr. V.K. Ahuja, who is incharge of DU’s Law Faculty confirmed the hacking.“The site has been hacked but very soon it will be reconstructed” he said.
Well there is no other warning or danger sign. The hacking is committed by the Bangladeshis as it was mentioned. As the message is indicating the website has been hacked as no security measures were adopted for the protection by the admin.
But the amazing thing is that there was no misuse of the site inspite of being under the control of hackers till friday evening. Mostly hacking is done to warn for some purpose or for some misuse.
Since no danger signs are there so it seems that someone hacked it for fun or to give a warning to the admin. The hackers were so daring even they have left a link to their facebook page.
Well this is not for the first time that a website was hacked by the hackers. Such type of incidences happen regularly.Hacking is very common in today’s scenario. The need is to protect the website by adopting strong and workable security measures.
