Good College or Good Course? The Real Dilemma

With cutoffs round the corner, the admission process is on its full swing. The percentages of universities have undoubtedly made the admission into higher education institutes a herculean task.

Having meandered through a similar scenario just a year back and not being cynic, I hereby express the muddle that nearly eats up the student’s mind which keeps lingering now and then. Yes, ‘a good college with some compromise on course or compromise on college for a preferred course’.

Well, I am sure that you might be inundated with ample of lauded narratives, each with specific pros and cons aggravating more to the confusion. Despite these hourly discourses, the scuffle in mind is still on and is hardly resolved.

Being a decider for future, the decision intrinsically involves a hell lot of of brainstorming and holds a significant gravity. It is commonly seen that students tend to make a move after an year of graduation and are still stuck in the cycle of re-admissions.

In my opinion a good college supersedes a course. This ain’t rhetoric as it is discernible where children take up plethora of additional certification in their preferred course besides pursuing a slight compromise of course in a reputed college. This way they enjoy a number of benefits that a good college offers.

The bonafide personification of the situation is Sundar Pichai who did metallurgy from IIT Kharagpur and still followed his passion for coding, thereby notching the pinnacle.So, by my reckoning and understanding the changed milieu of market trends, the brand name experiences a supreme pedestal, giving individual a better stature in the market.
