University of Delhi: The University administration had declared in its May 13, 2020 notice that the students for the current academic session will be graded on the basis of the Internal Assignments only because of the pandemic.
Violating the administration’s notice, the students of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College were graded on the basis of the attendance as well. This has, undoubtedly, led to a drop in the Internal Assessment’s grades of the students.
The mid-semester break and the subsequent lockdown left the students without any study resources and the classroom teaching was replaced with online classes. The lack of technological infrastructure and network connectivity resulted in low attendance during the online lectures. The flouting of the administration’s decision, to not take attendance into account, has degraded the marks of the students.
