From blogging to selling homemade foodstuffs or crafts, to organizations working for the society. One can find them all. In contrast to the on-ground organizations working in various fields, these are social media pages being run by students seeking to make a mark.

The coronavirus pandemic has left us with a lot of time on our hands. This is especially true for the student community as educational institutions would be the last to reopen. It has presented them with an opportunity to delve deeper into their hobbies and to hone their skills. People have also been using the platform for helping others. Will they continue to operate or be left behind like all trends are? With the gradual opening of schools and colleges all across the country, will the creative and altruistic students have enough time on their hands? Would the return to their “normal” lives leave these pages defunct with only their earlier posts to serve as memories of what was achieved and how many lives were touched?
