According to the ‘System of Air Quality Index and Weather Forecast’, air quality in Delhi remains in the poor category. Things have been bad in the capital for the last four days. On Sunday, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 428. Spreading poison in the capital’s air in the midst of a serious disease like corona can be fatal for people.

According to health experts, asthma or respiratory problems can increase in people due to increasing pollution. Delhi Air Quality can be very harmful to our lungs. Corona infection also mainly attacks this part of the body. In such a situation, children, elderly people or people suffering from any disease are advised to take more precautions.

How to save yourself in the situation where theĀ air in Delhi has started getting contaminated again?

Since the air in Delhi has started getting contaminated again, avoid exercise with more physical activity like cricket, hockey, cycling and marathon when AQI index is more than 150. If the pollution level is more than 200, do not go for a walk or a jog in the park, and only go out when necessary. When the pollution level is above 400, stay indoors, do not even go for a normal walk. When the pollution level is at 1000, there are situations like public health emergency.

Must wear a mask and Drink Water

Before going out of the house, do apply a mask. Water is very important to remove the toxins that enter the body through breathing. So do not forget to drink water. Drink up to 4 liters of water in a day. Drink water while leaving the house. Due to this, the supply of oxygen in the body will remain correct and if the toxic gases present in the atmosphere reach the blood, it will cause less harm.

Consume food containing vitamin C

Use vitamin-C, omega-3 as much as you can in food. Use honey, garlic and ginger as much as possible. In case of a cough, cold, drink honey and ginger juice. If it is necessary to get out of the house, then after coming home, clean your mouth, eyes and nose with lukewarm water. You can also take steam after coming from outside.

Take care of these things

Avoid getting out of the house. Do light workouts or pranayam at home. Avoid eating junk food and take a healthy diet. Include jaggery in the diet. Avoid visiting the factory or industrial areas. Do not smoke.
