With Part 5 of Money Heist tolling on Netflix, everybody can be seen humming the tune of the Italian anti-fascist song “Bella Ciao”. Hitting the right note, a rendition of “Bella Ciao” by Mumbai Police stole astounding views on Twitter and Instagram.
MUMBAI POLICE’S RENDITION
Earlier, an instrumental rendition of Bella Ciao by the police band Khaki Studio showed on Mumbai Police’s Twitter and Instagram handles.
Above all, the members of the Khaki Studio band, clad in khaki, were playing the iconic tune on saxophones, trumpets, conga drums, and other instruments.
The caption read “Khaki Makes Everything Even Better”.

HISTORY OF BELLA CIAO
Earlier, “Bella Ciao” is an Italian protest folk song dating back to the late 19th century. When women workers, known as mondina in paddy fields, would sing it to describe their hardships. During the Second World War, the song became a symbol of the anti-fascist Partisan movement in Italy.
