On October 1, a gunman opened fire from the 32nd floor of a hotel in Las Vegas, Killing 58 people injuring more than 500 more at a country music concert. It was the deadliest mass shooting in the modern history of US.
The attack renewed America’s ongoing debate over gun control, with particular interest in the use of bump stocks, which allowed Vegas shooter to fire faster rounds.
7. Padmavati Becomes Padmavat
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much awaited film, ‘Padmavati’ made it to the news headlines with objection raised by the fringe group Karni Sena, with many other Rajputi groups and  politicians supporting the claim about the film distorting the historical facts with misleading songs like “Ghoomar”. The movie leads along with the director even received threats by various protesting groups. How ever, the filmmakers have finally decided to release the movie under the “Padmavat” with 5 modifications with a UA certificate from the censor board.

More than 80 people were killed in a suspected chemical attack on the rebel held town of Khan Sheikhoun in North-Western Syria on April 4.
