CBCS To Be Applicable In School of Learning

Starting this year, CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) which was limited to only regular colleges of Delhi University will also be applicable to School of Open Learning as decided by Executive Council of Delhi University.This move won’t be applicable only to SOL but also to NCWEB. Curriculum and Examination Scheme will be revised in Under-graduate and Post-graduate.

Janmejoy Khuntia, SOL Staff Council Secretary told that he embraced the decision and said the decision taken was too late but still worth. He further said, that once CBCS is incorporated it will also open the gates for migration. Previously, such cases couldn’t happen because annual mode of exams were followed in SOLs while regular colleges witnessed semester mode.
