On Monday, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the new schedule of class Xth and class XIIth Board Examination that had been affected by the riots in Northeast Delhi and the COVID-19 pandemic led nation-wide lockdown respectively. The rescheduled time-table says that exams would be held from July 1 to July 15, 2020.
The exams will be held for 29 major subjects or papers which include six exams for class X students of Northeast Delhi and twelve papers for Class XII students across the country. Along with the dates and the revised schedule, CBSE also issued safety instructions in pointers below the date sheet. They are as follows:
- All the candidates will carry their own hand sanitizer in a transparent bottle.
- All the candidates will cover their nose and mouth with a mask/cloth.
- All candidates will follow Physical distance norms.
- Parents will guide their ward about precautions to be taken by them to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
- Parents will ensure that their ward is not sick.
The class XII exams would start with Home Economics on July 1; Hindi Elective and Hindi Core on July 2; Informatics practices and Computer Science and Information Technology on July 7; Business Studies on July 9; Biotechnology on July 10; Geography on July 11; and Sociology on July 14.

- Accountancy July 4
- Chemistry July 6
- English Elective- N July 8
- English Elective- C July 8
- English Core July 8
- Political Science July 14
- Mathematics July 15
- Economics July 15
- History July 15
- Biology July 15
