The trailer shows Hercule Poirot on a vacation on the Nile. The atmosphere there is charged with sexual tension.  While tensions are running high in the trailer, there is a sense of impending doom until the murderer strikes. It is up to Poirot to ‘deliver the murderer’ in the case which he claims has altered the shape of his soul. With the stakes so high, it is one murderer among a sea of suspects on a boat that has to be identified.

RELEASE

The fast-paced murder mystery is slated to have a theatrical release on 23 October 2020. It remains to be seen whether most countries would have opened their theatres by then and with what restrictions. Though a popular novel with a huge fan base, it has taken its chances at the box office with a conventional release, given the coronavirus pandemic.
