The Delhi Government on Tuesday, 22 September 2020 released funds worth ₹32.1 crores for salaries of employees working in six government-funded colleges of Delhi University. DUTA called the amount inadequate and said these funds do not cover all the expenses of these colleges.

Rajib Ray, President Delhi University Teachers’ Association (DUTA) said, “The allocated amount does not cover all expenses of these colleges, yet we hope the Delhi government at least transfers these funds to the colleges immediately. Unfortunately, the other six colleges still await the sanction. We must remind the government that these divisive policies will not work with us.”
