Delhi University Professor PK Vijayan Summoned By NIA Under UAPA

After a series of controversial arrests made in the Bhima Koregaon case in the likes of Hany Babu’s, another Delhi University Professor has been summoned today. Professor P.K. Vijayan of the English Department of Hindu College, Delhi University was summoned by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) earlier today. Booked under the UAPA charges, people associated with the varsity view this step as a “blatant misuse of a law designed to curb dissent and create an atmosphere of fear and apprehension”.
