Delhi University’s Admission Committee To Meet On DUSU President Ankiv Baisoya

In the last one week there have been allegations and various reports which highlight that Delhi University’s newly elected Student Union President,Ankiv Baisoya from the ABVP, submitted fake graduation mark sheet to get admission into Delhi University.Delhi University’s Department of Buddhist Studies has called for a meeting in this regard.The complaints were submitted by the NSUI and AISA on Wednesday.

“I have received a couple of complaints and alleged marksheets of Baisoya.I have called a meeting of the admission committee at 11 am on Monday to verify the certificates.” KTS Sarao,Head of the department was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.

The ABVP has welcomed investigation into the matter and has repeatedly asked the Delhi University to verify the documents of Ankiv Baisoya to prevent such allegations being made in future “For the last two days,many rumors have been spread regarding Ankiv’s degree. ABVP will provide its full cooperation to DU.If Ankiv is found guilty,then he must face legal actions.If he comes out clean,then all those spreading this propaganda must face action for mentally harassing and defaming the current DUSU president,” said ABVP’s National Media Convenor Monika Chaudhary.

Ankiv Baisoya claimed to have completed his graduation from Thiruvalluvar University in Tamil Nadu which has been denied by the University according to a response to a query made by NSUI.Yesterday,Ankiv’s name appeared in the attendance records of college of Vocational Studies which created more controversy and doubts about the genuinely of documents furnished by the ABVP leader.
