The Central Placement Cell of Delhi University will be organizing weekly Career Counselling Sessions for its UG and PG students from May 4, 2020. They will be conducted every Monday from May 4 to June 1. Considering the pandemic and the nation-wide lockdown, the counseling sessions will be held through a webinar.
The chief organizer of the Career Counselling Webinar, Dr. Hena Singh said, “Currently, there is a situation of confusion and uncertainty among DU students. However, later students will have to apply for jobs in various organizations. Therefore, we have decided to organize this webinar every Monday and train them for the same.”
Each counseling session will have experts addressing students on different topics about career and job prospects and problems that students are facing. The sessions will focus on resume making, interviews, business ethics, case study, and other important requirements for a job application.
Reportedly, students do not have to pay any fees for the training. It is free of cost. The counseling will be held every Monday evening from 5 PM to 6 PM. If the number of students exceeds the limit, the counseling will be organized in two sessions.According to a press release on the CPC website, the following topics will be covered in different sessions:
4th May 2020: Gen Z and Jobs of the Future
11th May 2020: Business Ethics
18th May 2020: Introduction to Data Analytics
25th May 2020: Case Studies
1st June 2020: Resume and Interview Tips and Tricks
