Drunk Retired DU Professor Rams SUV Into Multiple Vehicles;One Dead

A Delhi University professor rammed his SUV Fortuner into multiple vehicle’s and ran over two pedestrians killing one in Paschim Vihar’s Meera Bagh area in New Delhi.5 people were left injured and a 16-year-old‚Äôs life was claimed, the driver was also injured in the accident.

Kamal Kumar,65 years old professor used to teach at Hansraj college.According to the police, a Toyota Fortuner first hit an e-rickshaw, then a bicycle and a motorcycle. The impact of the accident was such that two sisters who were crossing the road were mowed down. The deceased was identified as Seema and was crossing the road with her sister when they came under the wheels.

As soon as Kumar will be recover, he will be interrogated and the obligation of him having been drunk would be ascertained. CCTV footage retrieved from the cameras installed in and around the area will be examined in order to thoroughly investigate into the matter.While one of the injured is in a delicate condition, seven others were reported to be durable.
