Delhi university is likely to begin with their ECA trials from 17 June for the academic session 2017-2018.
This year the University has received 8,273 applications already under the ECA category.There are 11 categories of activities under which applicants can give trials for getting admission including Film Making,Sculpture,NSS,Singing and Dancing.
According to the sources the first part of ECA trials will commence from 17 June and will continue till 26 June.After the semi-rounds the University will update the shortlist candidates.The finals will be conducted from 30 June to 6 July.
The trial process has got some changes this time.They will collect the certificates and documents after first round.
The ECA process will be calculated in ratio of 75:25 which is weight-age of 75 percent will be given to trials and 25 percent for the certificates. >
The applicants will be judged by an ECA admission committee constituting at least two experts from institutes like National School of Drama,Sri Ram Center for Performing Arts and Indian Council for Cultural Relations.
The University reserves not more than 5% of total intake in each course under the sports and ECA quota.
