With only a few months left for the 2017-18 session to end, the Delhi University has started gearing up for the 2018- 19 admissions. Every year DU welcomes thousands of students to its esteemed colleges not only from India but all over the world.
The university’s admission committee has already started revising the guidelines for the admissions this year.It has expanded the admission committee to 47 members retaining the 24 members from the last year. According to Yogesh Tyagi, the vice-chancellor of DU, Maharaj Pandit will continue to head the committee as reported by The Times of India.
Adding to the recent notification of having an entrance test for the Commerce Department, the university has also decided to club up the admissions of foreign students with the Indian ones.
Delhi University is one of the most prestigious institutions of the country which has gained popularity world wide. The foreign students prefer DU due to the high quality of education and the great exposure it provides. It has turned out to be the most sought-after university in the world.
This clubbing of the foreign students with the Indian ones will shift the admission process most probably to March. The registration process is likely to start between March-April. The early registration process will give the students a chance to collect all their required certificates and documents in time and make the process a smooth sail for everyone. They will also be allowed to edit the online forms.
The university is working for a better and hassle-free admission process for both the parents and students by adding more manpower and technical support.
