Keeping in mind the ongoing pandemic, DU will be digitalizing the whole admission procedure this year. To support the contactless admission, the University of Delhi may host pre-admission counselling virtually. These open sessions are an integral part of the admission process, usually held across various DU colleges to address all the queries of students and parents related to admission as cut-off lists, certificates required to enroll, choice of college, calculating best of four subjects, etc.

Speaking to Education Times, Rajiv Gupta, Dean Student Welfare (DSW), DU said, “Due to the pandemic, this year arrangements will be made to hold the sessions online where faculty members and volunteers will engage with students via webinars or video/voice calls to address their queries.” The university will update precise details for the same on the website after declaring the admission cut-off lists in August. Moreover, the timeline will be decided after the announcement of Class 12 CBSE results.
