DU Admissions 2020: Students can update marks using Digilocker

This year, Delhi University will follow a contactless admission process for all the students for the academic session 2020-2021 and the app ‘Digilocker’ is a key component.

DU released its first cutoff list on October 10, 2020, and the admissions shall commence from October 12, 2020. Due to the ongoing pandemic, as the process goes fully online, students get another advantage if they use the DigiLocker App. Students who meet the cut-off percentages for the colleges can now apply for admission online.

What is DigiLocker?

DigiLocker is a national Digitization online service provided by the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) in 2015.

DigiLocker is an initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India under the Digital India initiative. It is an Indian Digitization online service. Students can update their scores themselves if they have appeared for the compartment exam. As CBSE announced the compartment results on October 9, Friday; students can revise their marks using DigiLocker. In this case, their marks will be completely revised.

In the academic year 2019-2020, nearly 2 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Compartment Exams 2020, which were conducted from September 22 to 30, 2020, and the result was declared on October 9. A total of 52211 candidates or 59.43% of students passed the exam.

Candidates who appeared for the exams can check their results at cbse.nic.in or can use DigiLocker app for the same. Candidates can also use the SMS or IVRS facility to check their results.

How to check compartment results 2020 on DigiLocker?

To check your compartment results:
Step 1: Download the DigiLocker Application from Play Store or Apple Store on your mobile.
Step 2: Enter your roll number and admit card ID on the App.
Step 3: Click on Submit.
Step 4: Your compartment result of 2020 will appear on the screen.

While the cut off this year for DU reaches an all-time high mark, where colleges like LSR have 100% cut off, a lot of students look forward to it. DigiLocker will aid the process of online admissions for the academic year 2020-2021 by letting students update their marks on the app.
