University of Delhi: The Open Book Examinations (OBE) for the final term/semester students commenced from August 10, 2020. Although the students have been allotted with one extra hour to upload their answer scripts on the OBE portal, the website usually crashes within the last 30 minutes of the examination.

But a major fiasco was reported on August 14, when the students of the Political Science Honors received an old question paper of the mock examinations on their email addresses at 11:00 am. The same question paper was also uploaded on the OBE portal at 11:30 am. The students realized the disparity; nevertheless, the did attempt the questions.

At 12:00 pm, the students went in a frenzy as the messages about a new question paper on the portal were being circulated on the WhatsApp groups. This added to the hysteria as the students did not receive the new question paper on their email addresses. The students were then provided with an extra half an hour to complete the exam.

This irregularity in the OBE for the final semester/term students caused an upheaval among the examinees.
