DU Student Blames Private Tutor Of Rape

A case has been filed by a Delhi University (DU) student against her private tutor accusing him of raping her.

The 22-year-old victim is a resident of New Ashok Nagar.As reported by the police,the girl alleged that she was raped by her tutor in a hotel in Gurugram who also filmed the act.She further alleged in her complaint that the tutor pressurized her to marry him and threatened her of uploading the clips on social media and warned her that he would commit suicide if she refused to marry him.

As stated by ‘The Hindu’,Deputy Commissioner¬¨‚Ćof Police (East),Omvir Singh,said that the accused has been detained and also a case has been registered against him at New Ashok Nagar police station.He was quoted saying ‘We have detained the tutor for questioning.His mobile phone is also being examined to find out whether it contains the alleged video clips.
