If you check the answer sheets of The School of Open Learning (SOL) students, instead of finding answers to the question asked, you will find the problems being faced by them in their life.
“Dear¬†Vice-Chancellor Sir, please don’t conduct the examination in this scorching heat as it makes us feel lazy and hampers our performance,” wrote a third-year BA (H) students in the political science answer sheet.
Also, when asked to ‘define State’, the student replied “‘Bharat¬†‚Äî the Sone Ki Chidiya ‚Äî is our state and Narendra Modi is our state head. It will prosper only if he continues to remain in power.”
As a result teachers are quite frustrated and checking the answer sheets has become quite a difficult task for them. Many teachers are blaming the education system and the necessity of writing long answers which more often than not leads students to write rubbish.
