The Delhi High Court has told DU to complete the probe by November 12. This deadline is crucial since, according to the Lyngdoh Committee Recommendations, a re-election can only take place if the office of any major office-bearer falls vacant within two months of the election results being announced. The DUSU election results were announced on September 13.
