DUSU Elections 2018 : 12th September 2018 Is The Election Date;4th September 2018 Last Date To File Nomination

DUSU elections 2017 will be held on 12th September 2017.The prospective candidates have started the promotion campaign already days before the announcement of candidates by the student outfits. It does not matter which party it is,candidates from all the parties are busy in campaigning and students in the campus have to listen to them irrespective of the fact whether they like it or not.

“When i visited college campus last week, after showing my ID card at the entrance I found something missing from the usual election days. Then i realised, the candidates were not there for the promotion,I felt peace of mind, but time and again whenever I visited different places like ground, library,I found that component missing.I thought that their absence was serving their purpose more than their presence.” said a student.

“We have to walk on the paper while going in the college campus or even walking at the streets near the college. Lot of paper gets wasted in the campaign”. said another student.

We all were there in the class and we were feeling sleepy as it was a theory subject. Suddenly, candidates came and said, ” jago apne adhikar ko pehchano” and really that moment made us all wake up in the class and come back to the senses.” said another student.

The life in campus is interesting for some and at times it is irritating for the others. But it adds a lot to the campus life, when DUSU elections are there. The very main thing,it provides students with the right to vote. he right that we can choose who is going to organise various events in the university and fight for the rights of students.

The whole atmosphere gets transformed.Students are offered with things like going for a trip or watching a new released movie.

The excitement gets faded away when we come to know,Wifi will not work in campus until the results will not be out,new books will not be made available in the library before the new union will not be formed due to lack of funds and so on.

So the life at campus where DUSU exists has both good as well as bad points.

Its our humble request it does not matter whether you like the campaigns or not but surely go for voting.
