DUTA To Continue Its Strike Till 8th March

On Thursday, 28th February 2019, the Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA) decided to continue their strike further till 8th March.The DUTA is on the strike from Wednesday and earlier in the meeting it was decided that it will be till 1st March but now it will continue till 8th March.

Moreover, there is also a call from DUTA for ‘Bharat Bandh‘ on 5th March.The DUTA General Body Meeting also decided to hold college wise ‘Dharnas’ on 6th March where teachers will protest with students.The DUTA will hold a march from Mandi House to Jantar Mantar to press for their demands on 7th March.

To safeguard the career and livelihood of more than 4,000 teachers, the DUTA General body Meeting demanded for a one time precept for the soaking of ad-hoc and temporary teachers in Delhi University.
