DUTA Writes To Delhi University Principals Over Term Renewal of The Teachers

University of Delhi: The Delhi University Teachers’ Association (DUTA) has raised its concerns over the term renewal of the teachers of the University, including the ad-hoc teachers. According to the revised Academic Calendar, the last day of the vacation is June 30 and the University reopens on July 01. The DUTA has, therefore, asked the University to give the joining to the teachers with effect from July 01 and to continue the services of the ad-hoc teachers, they shall be given joining as well till the recruitment of permanent faculty.

The DUTA has also asked for the entire process to be digitized to reduce the health risk of travelling and crowding. It has also called for safety protocols to be followed by the institutions while preparing the teaching-learning for the upcoming semester/year.
