1. Hansraj College

Serving food to superstar Shah Rukh Khan, the canteen is the Star Canteen of DU. The canteen is known for it’s fresh and hygienic food at super cheap prices. The canteen is super spacious being able to accommodate around 150 students. You can try out their popular combo- Chocolate Frappe and Grilled Sandwiches at just Rs.50 while listening to some upbeat music playing in the backdrop.

The canteen is one of the most economical canteens of DU offering an array of vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian delights. The canteen is quite spacious offering to hold a decent capacity of people. The canteen it’s famous for its irresistibly good rajma chawal and dosa.

Ramjas college offers a three-floored canteen, the first floor being the air-conditioned one. The canteen also boasts of serving food prepared by a five-star trained cook. The egg fried rice and french fries served with mint chutney are the hot sellers.

4. St. Stephens College

The college is not only famous for it’s super high cut-off’s but it’s super good café. The café is famous for its non-vegetarian delights- mince cutlets, curries and omelettes and refreshing drinks like lemonade and ice tea. But the college cafeteria is strictly restricted to the college students only.

5. Lady Shri Ram College For Women

The college has one of the most stylish cafeteria just like it’s crowd. The menu offers a variety of savouries like Pastries, Tarts, Choco Pie, Cold Coffee, Croissant and Cheese Macaroni. The canteen is known for preparing a new sweet dish every day. Once here, the famous Keema Dosa shouldn’t be given a miss.

6. Delhi School Of Economics

Known as one of the finest institute for Economics, Sociology and Commerce, the D-school is also famous for its mouthwatering delicacies at a pocket friendly price. The students swear by it’s Mutton Cutlet, Mutton Dosa and Masala Coke. J.P stall located in the campus is a go-to stall for their special Chai and Iced Tea.

7. Sri Venkateshwara College

Popularly known as the Venky College, the college has a strictly vegetarian canteen. The canteen serves one of the best South Indian dishes with the authentic flavours. The canteen also has seasonal specialities like fresh jalebis served during the winter chills.

8. Kamla Nehru College

The college canteen is more like a mini food court with an indoor and outdoor seating. The campus also has a Coca-Cola stand offering fast food, a Chinese food stall and a Nescafe takeaway. The canteen has a special section for chaats like gol gappe, aloo ticki and dahi bhalle in the menu. Shahi Paneer with Butter Naan and Rajma Chawal are the constant favourites among the students.

9. Miranda House

Just like KNC, Miranda House also boasts of having a Nescafe takeaway and a Mother Dairy booth alongside it’s canteen. What makes the canteen special are the fusion dishes prepared here. One of them being, Paneer Dosawich which is sold here like hotcake.

10. Shri Ram College of Commerce

One of the premier colleges of DU, SRCC also promises a wide variety of scrumptious dishes to it’s students. The menu not only includes mouth-watering in-house delicacies but an American menu too. Their hot dogs and egg sandwiches can’t be given a miss.
