Four youths of Kashmir have been taken into the police custody for issuing fake letterhead in Delhi University’s name. They have reportedly forged the signatures of Ankiv Baisoya, the newly elected president of Delhi University Students Union (DUSU).
“The matter is sensitive as the accused have used the letterhead and signatures of the DUSU president. We are finding more about their network and probing if there are any links with the terrorist organisations,” Mohan Singh, the Police Official told Mail Today.
Mail Today reported one of the officials saying “During interrogation, Aamir, a BA second-year student, said that they prepared a fake letterhead with president Ankiv Baisoya’s forged signature so that we could impress Delhi and NCR residents”.
This statement came from the accused in the context of their claim that they were allegedly collecting funds for rehabilitation of people belonging to terror-affected regions in J&K.However, Ankiv Baisoya has denied any involvement in this case.
