Delhi University :  With the blunders in results reverberating across many courses and colleges, a new fiasco has been reported from the Gargi College, which lies in the South Campus of the University. A student’s data is evidently missing from the result portal while the results have already been declared for her course.

The girl is a 2nd-year student of English Honors at Gargi College and appeared for all her examinations for Semester 03 in November/December 2019. While the results for English Honors Semester 03 were published on May 06, 2020, the website declined her credentials with a “Sorry! No record found” message. The student has lodged a complaint to the administration in light of her hassle but has not been provided with any positive response yet. She has, instead, been asked to wait for an indefinite period of time because her data is not available online.

This news is, especially, troublesome at a time when chants of a major dip in the result of English Honors is echoing across all the colleges of the University. The drop in grades has affected Semester 03 students, too. Meanwhile, the University has rolled out a circular prescribing on May 26, 2020, as the deadline for applying for re-evaluation and re-checking of the answer scripts, following which the forms shall not be accepted. The unavailability of her result has obstructed the path for the student to apply for the re-evaluation of her answer scripts.

This is also inconvenient as the web-based transcript of the result crashes after a certain period of time post-result declaration and the students are not able to access the transcripts of their results after it. A print out of the result is advised but the student does not have any access to her transcript. Consequently, she is unable to obtain her result online and the curfew in times of the pandemic also strains her manual access to it.
