Girl From Ramanujan College Arrested For Kidnapping 3 Year Old Kid

A student of Ramanujan College of Delhi University has been arrested by the police, for kidnapping her landlord’s 3-year old son. She committed this crime with the help of her juvenile brother.

The victim’s father had filed a missing complaint with the Vasant Kunj Police Station.The duo kidnapped the child and demanded a ransom amount of 50 lakh rupees from their landlord. They did this to earn money easily. In order to demand the ransom amount, the accused sent messages to the victim’s father via WhatsApp.For this, they used wifi hotspot.

The police stated that the child was rescued within a day and the accused were taken into police custody. Also, the student revealed in an investigation, that she had planned to kidnap the child in August. For this, she and her brother hired a room in Ghitorni. They kept the child there until they could get the ransom amount but the police failed their plan by tracking them down within a day.

The girl is a first year B.com student of Ramanujan College and her brother is a XII class student of a government school.
