The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has released ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results today on its official website. Apart from the usual procedure of checking the results online, this year, the Council has also provided the facility of checking results via SMS for students. “The digitally signed documents shall be available after 48 hours of the publication of the result”, said CISCE. Students shall obtain their passing certificate and mark sheet through Digilocker.

Since a lot of papers were cancelled by the Council due to the pandemic, it came up with an alternative method to assess the students. Some of the cancelled papers included Geography – H.C.G. (paper 2), Biology – Science (paper 3), and Economics Group III Elective for ICSE students and Biology (paper 1), Business Studies, and Geography for ISC students. The assessment scheme, therefore, included taking into account a student’s marks in the best three papers for which the written exam was successfully taken, along with the marks scored in internal assessment/project work.
