JNU Student Arrested For Stalking Senior,Barged Into Hostel

A 19-year-old JNU student has been arrested for allegedly stalking a senior and barging into her hostel.

The FIR was registered at Vasant Kunj (North) Police Station and the accused was arrested but later released on bail.According to police, the accused is from Jammu and Kashmir and is studying Russian at Jawaharlal Nehru University.

This incident took place Sunday late night when the man was caught allegedly barging into the girls hostel. The man tried to enter the room of victim when she raised the alarm informing the hostel’s security department.
