1.Hindu College

Hindu College, one of the finest colleges of north campus, offers 4 years full time degree in B.A.(Hons) Music. The college clearly provides an environment for continuous development and polishing the music skills of the students  and carves out a way for pursuing a successful career in music.

2. Ramjas College

Ramjas College is yet another renowned college, famous for its quality of education and excellence. It offers a 3 year  undergraduate degree in B.A.(Hons) Music and a post graduate degree in M.A. Music. Offering 10 seats in B.A.(H) and 20 in M.A. the admissions to both these courses are made by the Department of Music, University of Delhi. The course covers a plethora of opportunities for students with hidden potential in music by providing a rich collection of books on music in the college library.

3. Indraprastha College for Women

Indraprastha College for women affiliated to Delhi University, offers a 3 year course in B.A.(H) Music.With 37 seats in total, the college gives training in Hindustani and Carnatic classical music in both vocal and instrumentalist forms.The classes for the main papers in this course are held at the Faculty of Music .

4. Daulat Ram College

Daulat Ram, offers B.A. Program course in music and teaches classical music(Vocal) and instrumental (Sitar) covering different areas of Hindustani Music . It also offers B.A.(H) and M.A. in music.The music department in the college continuously strives for inculcating in the students the fundamentals of various ragas, history of music and life sketches of great musicians . It helps them to make their entry into M. Phil, Ph.D  in music and teaching career later in their life.

5.Miranda House

Miranda house offers 3 year undergraduate degree in B.A. (Hons.) Music.Offering 15 seats , each student in this course is required to take, in addition to papers in the main discipline, two concurrent credit courses and one concurrent qualifying course in the first year, and two concurrent discipline-centered credit courses in the second year. The college also offers M.A. in music.

Eligibility Criteria for Delhi University Colleges

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45%aggregate and must have Music as one of the mandatory subject. Aggregate of one language and three best elective subjects (Music including) would be considered as best four subjects. Candidates who have learned Music for a minimum of 3 years from a recognized institute or certified teacher are also eligible. Admission is given on the basis of entrance exam.

6.Asian Academy of Film and Television

Situated in Noida, AAFT music academy offers degree and diploma courses in music production at the bachelors and masters level. The bachelor  of performing  arts is a full time 4 years course that offers specialization in music production. The course includes fundamentals of music composition, recording and production which focus on elevating the performance skills of the students.The course provides immense knowledge and practice to the students to develop their careers in  Music producer or composer, Recording Engineer, Songwriter, Club DJ or radio. It also provides a  2 years masters degree in  Masters of performing arts in music which is designed to educate the students ,music theory and fine tuning the techniques to play on a professional level. Apart from this, there is  a 1 year PG Diploma course in music production.The admission is based on an entrance test and a personal interview.

7.Amity School of Performing Arts

With numerous opportunities, Amity School of Performing Arts in Noida, offers a 3 years course of Bachelors of Music in Classical Hindustani Vocal and Hindustani Classical Instruments, a 2 years Diploma course in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music.

8. Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication

This is a premiere institution for performing arts. SACAC provides a 4 months certificate course in music production with a total of 10 seats, and a 1 year diploma course in audio engineering and music production. These courses aim to better the music skills of the

students in accordance with the demand in the industry and society.
