Mahraja Agrasen College (MAC) is one of the youngest and holistically involving colleges of University of Delhi. It has come a long way in a short period of time after being established in 1994.it is located in Vasundhara enclave area in East Delhi. Being an off campus college,it caters to the demands of the densely populated areas of East Delhi.
In 2013,MAC was awarded the best college award.This college has consistently found a place in the ranks of the best colleges in the country in the prestigious India’s best college surveys conducted by India Today and Nielsen Co. for the last three years.Now who wouldn’t want to attend one of the best colleges of DU?
All this is because it has the latest infrastructure.Classrooms are well lit,ventilated,spacious and fitted with modern desk units with white boards and projectors to expedite the teaching and learning process.The reason for the remarkable ranking is the furnished auditorium with all facilities,big complex,computerized library, fully equipped media lab,science labs,ICT center,conference hall,a girls common room with air conditioning.The college also has a UGC research center where research on various topics is done and scholarly articles are published.There is a girls hostel inside the campus which can accommodate 50 girls.The locality has affordable and spacious PG’s and apartments for outstation students.
MAC offers limited courses which are taught by experienced and dedicated teachers.

It is one of the five colleges in University of Delhi that offers Journalism and one of the two Co-ed colleges that have this choice of course.
Besides academics the college has a lot to offer.There is a students council for the betterment of the students along with a Women Development Cell,National Service Scheme and a Placement Cell.There is a cultural council which has the following societies :-

- Chakraview – The Debating Society

- Tassavur – The Photography and Art Society.
Last year Abhinay (The Street Play Society) participated in over 30 competitions and bagged over 24 prizes,making the college proud.
Noida as a hangout place is vibrant and happening.It has various clubs,markets and malls.The recently opened Mall of India is located there along with Great India Palace (GIP),Wave Cinemas,Spice Mall,Sector 18 Market which are in vicinity can be reached in ten minutes from the college.There are various food joints nearby college too.
