Delhi University has released a new notice regarding the DU admission and cut-offs on 14th October on its official website. It is related to undergraduate admissions in 2020.
The notice has three important points of information which are as follows:
- All applicants, who meet the cut off criteria, should be given admission. This means that there is no “first come first serve” basis. If you have applied for a college, and you meet the cut off criteria, you are guaranteed admission.
- Late applications would not be considered. Make sure you submit your application in the due time of cut-offs, otherwise they will not be entertained.
- Applicants who qualified in a previous cut off, would not be considered in any subsequent cut-offs. Check the document here.

The Delhi University released its first cut off on 10th October. It has received over 19,000 applications on the first day of online admission for undergraduate courses.
The DU admission process is completely online this time, keeping in mind the coronavirus pandemic. The university also advised students not to visit colleges in person. The guidelines to complete the admission process and how to calculate the best-of-four have also been uploaded on the website. University officials and college professors have informed that there haven’t been any major issues in the admission process online. Beside minor issues, which were resolved quickly, the process has been very smooth.
The professors are also balancing their online classes along with the admission process, which is of course, only possible because the entire process has been online this time.
The Delhi Teachers Association (DTA) has set up a committee of various varsity professors to guide the students seeking admission. Read the full article here.
