The Delhi Police dismissed the St Stephens College vandalisation incident as a rumour. This is likely because of the fact that college administration didn’t file any complaint in this regard.

Pictures surfaced online of the St Stephens Chapel door where it was written ‘Mandir Yehi Banega’ with black paint. The cross near the graveyard was vandalised too with an Om symbol on top of it with the words ‘I am going to hell’.
