Sections Related To Gujarat & Muzaffarnagar Riots Removed From The Proposed English Undergraduate Syllabus

After the discussions, objects and protests by the ABVP, some chnages have been decided over. There would not be any mention of Gujarat and Muzaffarnagar riots in the undergraduate syllabus of English department. It has also been decided that the section related to the LGBTQ would also be dropped.

These changes were made after the objections raised by the standing committee in the Academic council meeting. The content has raised objections because of involvement of communal riots and homosexuality.
