Actor Sidharth Shukla Dies of Heart Attack

Popular television and film actor, Sidharth Shukla passed away on Thursday morning, said an official at the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. The 40-years old actor, best known for his role in the daily soap Balika Vadhu and as the winner of India’s leading reality show, Bigg Boss 13.

Sidharth Shukla suffered a massive heart attack in the morning. It is learnt that he was taken to hospital at around 11 am. Now, he is survived by his mother and two sisters.

“He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago,” the senior Cooper Hospital official told PTI. “Initial report indicates that he died of a heart attack. We, however, won’t be able to confirm the cause of his death until we complete the post mortem,” a senior doctor from the forensic department of the hospital told Hindustan Times.

Sidharth Shukla’s death: “No foul play”

BMC’s health department team spoke to the Cooper Hospital Dean. The late actor’s family has informed the Mumbai Police that there was no foul play or him being under ‘mental pressure’. Subsequently, they don’t want any rumours to float around.

Additionally, the cops have been informed by the family members that Sidharth was calm the night before. At last, he had his meals and slept peacefully. In the morning, when he didn’t wake up, the ambulance was called for by his family members.

Afterwards, a Cooper hospital spokesperson said that the actor was “brought dead” to the hospital.

Sidharth’s Career

Born on 12th December, 1980, in Mumbai to Ashok Shukla and Rita Shukla, Sidharth’s family has roots in Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh. He completed his schooling from St.Xavier’s High School, Fort, Mumbai and later graduated in Interior designing from Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design.

Sidharth’s debut in acting was made through the television show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na, in which he played the role of Shubh Ranawat. Consequently, he was premiered in Jaane Pehchaane Se…Ye Ajnabbi, Love U Zindagi and Dil Se Dil Tak. Also, his best performance was in the long-running show Balika Vadhu. 

Afterwards, he took part in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Ja 6 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7, winning the latter. Then, he emerged as the winner of the best season of Big Boss ever, the thirteenth one. 

In fact, he also made a Bollywood debut in the hit Dharma movie, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Recently, he was also trying his hands on video songs like Bhula Dunga and Shona Shona.
