Studying Through Delhi University’s School of Open Learning Online

Delhi University has been providing distance learning as well as regular programmes for various courses, but from this year students, will be able to access the School of Open Learning (SOL) undergraduate courses online. Last week, the executive council of Delhi University has approved its plans to provide SOL online which will not just make it easy and efficient but would rise up enrollments as well. In a week, there have already been 40,000 registrations under SOL for all the students who couldn’t make it up to the high cut-offs of regular DU colleges.

Complying with UGC’s guidelines, the online SOL will have four components in all to help the students.

  • Online video or audio tutorials
  • Reading material through e-books or PDF
  • Open access to all the web content including articles
  • Self-assessment through MCQs and discussion forums
