No doubt with a great name comes great fame and this reminds us of the popular college in South Campus of Delhi University, with the longest name of all times,Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Sri Venkateswara College,also casually called as “Venky” among the DU students.The college was setup in 1961 and since then it has seen an exponential growth in its status and its overall development.As an educational institution it has been remarkable in terms of availability of courses in disciplines such as Humanities, Commerce and Science.

COURSES

There are over 20 Under Graduate courses and a considerable number of Post Graduate courses along with special short term courses like Certificate and Diploma course in German and Russian language, PG Diploma in Bio-Chemical Technology and a one year PG certificate course in Tourism and Travel Management. The most sought after courses are English(H),B.Com(H),B.A. (Prog.),Maths(H),Sociology(H),Political Science (H),History(H).

Venky is located alongside the Ring Road and just a few steps away from the most happening and coolest hangout point of South Campus,Satya Niketan,being easily accessible to students who travel either by bus or by metro.Race Course Metro Station, on the yellow line , is the closest and so is the Satya Niketan bus stop.And also,the upcoming metro station called South Campus Metro Station,is built along the lines of most of the South Campus colleges.
