The organisation of the United Nations, that is primarily working for this is FAO. It has been aiding and supporting various countries to battle hunger since 1945. According to the official website of UNDP, an estimate of 795 million people were “Chronically Undernourished” by 2014. More than 90 million children under the age of five are underweight. Droughts and famines, loss of biodiversity, environmental degradation, so on and so forth are its causes.

In order to end this dangerous problem by 2030, various nations, private firms and even individuals from around the world, are working towards and for this mission. Their stepping stone happens to be hunger and poverty.
