    Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, co-recipient with Shimon Peres and Yāsir ʿArafāt of the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1994, was assassinated on 4th November in 1995 by a Jewish extremist, Yigal Amir, while attending a peace rally.

In 2007, King Tutankhamen’s face was unveiled for the first time to the public more than 3,000 years after the pharaoh was buried in his Egyptian tomb.

  • 1783— Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Symphony No. 36” premieres in Linz, Austria

    It was written by Mozart, a famous Classical Musician and Composer, during a stopover in the Austrian town of Linz on his and his wife’s way back home to Vienna. The entire symphony was written in four days to accommodate the local count’s announcement, upon hearing of the Mozarts’ arrival in Linz, of a concert.
