UPSC released CSE 2019 Results

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released CSE 2019 results this afternoon.

Pradeep Singh has topped the Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2019. Jatin Kishore has got the second rank. Pratibha Verma at AIR-3 is the highest scorer among females.

While many call it UPSC, including the very bright Sharma ji ka ladka, Civil Services Examination(CSE) is an annually held examination by the UPSC to recruit civil servants. The examination was started by Charles Cornwallis, who was a Britisher and was known as the Imperial Civil Services. The examination was held to recruit officials at higher posts under the British Government.

It has three phases: Prelims, Mains, and Personality test. 

Candidates who clear all three phases, finally get recommended for top-notch services like Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and various other services.

UPSC RELEASED CSE 2019 RESULTS | SUCCESS RATE 2019

Based on the result of the written part of the Civil Services Examination, 2019 held in September and the interviews for personality tests held in February-August, a total of 829 candidates have passed the exam. UPSC released CSE 2019 results on its official website.

  • The candidates can check the result through the official website of UPSC or upsconline.nic.in.
  • Click on the result link.
  • Log-in using credentials. Credentials are given on the admit card of the candidate.
  • Download it.
  • Candidates may take a print out for further references.

CSE Prelims 2020 had got postponed due to pandemic and will not be conducted on the 4th of October’20. The Mains examination will be held on the 8th of January’21. Candidates appearing this year can stay tuned to the official website for further updates.
