Venky Girl Nishtha Dudeja Wins Miss India Deaf 2018 Title,Makes DU Proud

Delhi university has added another feather to it’s cap courtesy to one of it’s very beautiful and determined alumni Nishtha Dudeja. This 22-year old is all smiles after winning the coveted Miss India Deaf 2018 title.

She won the pageant on February 26, 2018 in Jaipur. The three day pageant commenced on Feb 24. It was organized by the Rajputana Deaf Arts and Culture Society (RDACS) in collaboration with the All India Deaf Arts and Culture Society (AIDCS).

Nishtha is a commerce graduate from Shri Venkateshwara College, University of Delhi. This is not the the first time when she has made people around her proud.She had also represented India in Law Tennis at Deaflympics, 2013 which was held in Bulgaria followed by Deaflympics, 2017 in Turkey . She has also participated in World Deaf Tennis Championship 2015 held in the UK.

The lovely girl gives all the credit to her parents who stood by her side through thick and thin. On being asked about her plans after winning the title, she replied, ” If I win the title of Miss Deaf India my immediate goal will be to win Miss Deaf World for my country which I believe I can if I get enough practice. In the long term I want to work for public welfare.”
