50% Merit Quota For DU Students In Post Graduate Courses Likely To Stop From This Year

According to a Times of India report,Delhi University is likely to stop the 50% merit quota from this year which was given to existing DU students for admission into PG courses.DU’s academic committee on Thursday this week decided to hold entrance exams for all PG courses.

The decision will be sent to the Vice Chancellor for approval.Till now,50% seats every year were reserved for Delhi University students and were allocated on the basis of merit (marks).  “Now the committee is planning to create a centralised platform for holding entrance exams for all 45 PG courses,” an official told Times of India.
